Aspen valley icon Mt Sopris

BMG is founded on many concepts and values, one of them is strength of character and standing strong (like a mountain). This particular mountain is not the tallest in BMGs home state of Colorado but it rises 1500 ft high above the valley floor. There are all kinds of mountain metaphors but visually and physically this mountain speaks to its virtues. The BMG founder knows this first hand through his snowboard ascent in the spring of 2010. The mountain proved a formidable opponent with an alpine start at 5am and the summit around 11am. Check out this tweaked photo from sopris just after sunrise.

The power of connections

Interconnectedness is a value of BMG as a collective. Here is an example of the power of synergy. This image shows how interconnectedness of world financial institutions and everyone knows how powerful they are. Its been said, "its not what you know but who you know," I think this confirms that cliche.

Rudyard Kipling Quote

The power of BMG is in the balance and depth of our organization. Rudyard speaks to this BMG value. “If you can walk with the crowd and keep your virtue, or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch; If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you; If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute with 60 seconds worth of distance run-Yours is the earth and everything that's in it, And-which is more-you'll be a man my son.” ― Rudyard Kipling
